Maybe I was just too used to Batman combat or something at the time. Group combat can still be a bit messy (I miss having a group attack stance that the first game had), but I'm managing it a lot better than I remember my first time through.ĭefinitely a happy surprise for me since the combat was something I wasn't able to warm up to the first time through the game. Maybe the game got more patches after I finished it, or maybe the performance increase with my upgraded PC made it feel smoother, but I'm having a lot more fun dodging/blocking/parrying attacks. I'm getting back into Witcher 3 having not played it since I beat it around launch, and I actually find that the combat is better than I remember.
